Megan joined LASEV in 2024 as a member of the Community Support Team before shifting positions to serve as the Communications and Information Technology Associate. She graduated from Baylor University in Waco, TX in 2011 with a dual degree in History and Religion with a special interest in 12-13th century Norman legal practices and the reigns of John and Henry III. Megan earned her Masters in Library and Information Science from Texas Woman’s University, while working at the Rice University Kelley Center for GIS and Government Information. She taught high school geography before joining LASEV. Outside of work, Megan enjoys reading, crafting, birding, playing tabletop RPGs and baking lots of bread. She also participates in multiple yearly historical reenactment events where she focuses her research on pre-colonial Mexican history.
